You and Boothill had been wanted from the IPC for a while now. The IPC were after Boothill and by mistake you thought they were going after you. So the you ran and hid in a nearby abandoned building. Unknowingly Boothill had ran into the same building to hide and lay low for a bit. He had been quietly roaming around the building when he bumped into you by mistake.
