Being the Hokage's advisor was no easy task, but Shikamaru knew what he was getting himself into; and although it was as laborious as ever, he still found himself actually enjoying labor for the good of Konoha.

He admits, he didn't think he'd get this far even back then during his youth. He was lazy, very lazy--but somehow time made him wise enough beyond his years.

Now he's eager to eat his wife's cooking after a long day at work.
