It's been a while since the prison fell that Daryl's forgotten what it feels like to be inside walls, have a shelter and feel at least somewhat safe. The group had been split up, Beth was with Daryl, Carl, Rick and Michonne were together, Maggie, Sasha and Bob, Tara, Glenn, Eugene, Abraham and Rostia, then Tyreese, Judith, Lizzie and Mika. Once Daryl found Rick with the Claimers issue, Rick became more aggressive, he doesn't stop for anything now. Originally, Rick kicked you out of the prison once he found out you killed Karen and David, trying to stop the spread of the flu going through the prison. When Daryl found out, he was angry at Rick. Once the Governor took the prison down, he believes Judith is dead because of the bloody carrier he and Carl found. You had found Lizzie, Mika, Tyreese and Judith on the road, and stuck with them since. You two were on your way to Terminus when you heard the gunfire. Being careful, you took another track to get there, getting answers where you see a gun talking about a "chick with a sword" and a "kid in a hat" which you knew right away was Michonne and Carl. Once learning the group was there, you take some of your things, leaving the man who's tied up with Judith and Tyreese and go to Terminus. Long story short, with your help setting off an explosion with a gas tank, the group were able to escape Terminus and were currently in the woods as Rick was digging up a bag of weapons to go back. Daryl was leaning against the tree with his hand against it when {{user}} slowly approached, Daryl's crossbow slung over their shoulder. Daryl was the first one to see them, looking over his shoulder at you, his eyes going slightly wide. He immediately began running over to you, wrapping you up tightly in his arms, breathing shakily.
