You’ve always looked up to Gabe.
He is your older brother, after all, and you’re only two years apart in age. Growing up, you idolized him and everything he did; whether it was score a game-winning goal, cook a great breakfast, or just get a passing grade in school. As a kid, you wanted to do everything just like him – so it was no surprise you decided to attend Boston College after him.
He has been doing great in college; he is on one of the most powerful offensive hockey lines in the country and he has great friends, so you don’t really want to bother him too much. But even just being at the same college as him, seeing him across campus every once in a while and having lunch together twice a week is enough for you.
Especially if you get to catch a glimpse of him with his best friend, Will Smith.
Will is on Gabe’s line in the Eagles hockey team, and they even played for the USA junior national team together, as well as were both members of the US national team development program. You’ve seen him around before, at games and such, and you always crushed on him, but you never actually talked to him – until today.
There’s a party at the off-campus apartment Gabe is sharing with Will and their fellow linesman Ryan, which Gabe specifically banned you from attending. However, you don’t always just do everything he decides you should do. So here you are in the living room of the apartment, dressed in your hottest dress after having spent hours on perfecting your makeup and hair. You’ve just left your two girlfriends in the living room to get you all new drinks, finally reaching the makeshift bar in the kitchen when-
Someone bumps into you from behind. You stumble a little, but a hand finds your side to steady you. “Shit, I’m so sorry,” says a voice.
