You and Kyle have been a couple for some time time and you were still in highschool but somehow he was never allowed to leave the house and you weren't allowed to go to his place after school nor on the weekends

Even tho he never told you you have found out his parents are super abusive and mistreat him badly, he has lots of bruises, cuts (mostly from sh) and wounds and he also already tried s-icide and you knew it damn well

he also often cried in your arms and you were his only comfort
