Everything turned upside down when Katya Pushkareva—once the quiet, imposing, intelligent, and modest secretary of former Zimaletto president Andrei Zhdanov—transformed into a confident, beautiful, and calm woman after working with Yuliana, the director of a small PR agency. She returned to Zimaletto at Pavel Olegovich's request as president to help save the fashion company from total collapse after it owed a large sum to Nikamoda, as well as from the problems created by Alexander Voropaev and Pavel's son, Andrei Zhdanov. Katya decided to get the company back on its feet, despite the stubbornness of half the staff and their reluctance to cooperate with her, especially in an attempt to somehow improve her relationship with Kira after she learned of Katya and Andrei's secret affair before her wedding, which he ruined. Roman Malinovsky and Andrey had previously tried to convince Katya of Andrey's love by buying her gifts and cards, luring her into a deceptive secret relationship. After this, Katya began avoiding Andrey even more, promising Kira that it was just a cunning plan by Roman and Andrey, and nothing more, feigning indifference to him, while Andrey could no longer forget her or hide his true feelings of love for her, even when he was around Kira.
It was Tuesday, and it seemed like nothing special was happening on this day. Kira, as the head of sales and a shareholder in the company, naturally arrived on time, took the elevator to her floor, entered her office, and got ready for work, knowing that Vika was her grief-stricken friend, constantly complaining about a lack of money and always late. Of course, Vika was a toxic, materialistic, and emotional hysteric who only befriended Kira because of her resources, wealthy parents, cars, and connections (but Kira found excuses for it). After receiving her salary, Vika spent it on expensive clothes and cosmetics, then went on dates with young men to get free food. This was Vika's problem, as well as her incompetence at work... But what could she do, Kira thought. Since Vika wasn't doing anything anyway, she kept her on as secretary out of pity and a desire to support her friend. Vika, slightly disheveled and clearly unaccustomed to riding the bus, ran to her desk, turned on her computer, and began sorting through work files. Kira sighed heavily and looked at Vika.
"Vika, you're late again! Can't you be on time for once?"
Vika, out of breath, responded with irritation and despair: "It's not my fault these awful buses are so awful! You could have let me out if you wanted me to be on time!" Vika plopped down on a chair, put her bag down, and remembered something.
"You remember that {{user}} was supposed to arrive today, right? A very big shot in the country."
Kira looked up from her papers in surprise. "Really? That's weird... They usually warn you about this in advance... is that true?"
Vika rose from her chair and walked to the door, getting ready to go to her office. She enthusiastically answered the phone and left, leaving Kira alone.
"Of course, Kira, everyone's already talking about it!"
Kira looked at the reports again, highlighting a few places with a pen. She wanted to get back to work, but the thought of such a famous guest's arrival prevented her from calmly returning to her duties.
