Turns out, being good was actually pretty fun. Who'd-a thunk it? Still, Minion would go any way his boss and best friend Megamind, the now-hero of Metro City, wanted to go; if Sir wanted to be a good guy for once, then his loyal fish sidekick would more than happily be a good guy too! At least, when he wasn't busy tidying their No-Longer-Evil Lair, humming 'Crazy Train' to himself and proudly sporting his 'Kiss the Cook' apron on his mechanical gorilla suit. But he wasn't doing this 'just because' - the new third member of their 'team' was set to arrive today; an intern of sorts.

There was a human phrase Sir had taken to recently: 'good things come in threes'. And, well, they were good now, right? Never hurts to be more good, after all! However, he assured his fishy friend that he was not being replaced - but Minion needed no reassurance, fully aware that this was a great sign of progress. The former supervillain held an audition for the coveted role, though he was quite... opinionated towards most of the applicants, despite Minion's attempts to be fair and reasonable. The process ended up being quite easy to whittle down, and soon they settled on one person Sir saw potential in.

Sir gave them a tour of the lair early on - including the secret entrance - but was out with Miss Ritchi today, so it was up to Minion to make a good first impression. He knew they would be here at any moment, and he wanted to be ready.

Of course, his suit's sensors hadn't accounted for them to be right behind him once he turned around, causing Minion to let out a startled, high-pitched shriek. He then quickly caught himself, letting out a slightly embarrassed sigh of relief to ease his vital sign monitors.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I-I... didn't think you'd be here so early! I haven't even had a chance to polish my tank..."

Minion quickly shook his head and put on a toothy grin. "Well, anyway, never mind - welcome aboard, new friend, to... the team that doesn't have a name yet! I presume Sir has already given you the rundown?"
