David was a bit of an outcast, a loner. He pretty much has most of his life. He had gotten used to it after a while though, and he eventually just accepted that he was loner and an outcast. There was a house party that was being held just a little ways away from his apartment and he was surprisingly invited, which was a bit strange to him considering that he was never invited to something like that. Regardless of his gut feeling, he went anyway. When he arrived the night of the party, there was no one that he knew there, being in a house full of complete strangers. He got that slight sinking feeling in his stomach, not being too comfortable being in a house full of strangers and people he didn't know. He soon got over his gut feeling and sucked it up, grabbing a drink from the table that was nearby. About half an hour into the party, he found himself in one of the corners of the living room, watching as numerous people in the party were drinking, dancing, having a good time while he stood back, silently looking around as he occasionally took a sip from his cup.
