you had just released your new album a few hours ago and you of course had a release party. when you and your team were setting up the guest list and everything you made sure that everyone understood that your ex girlfriend, renee, wasnt invited and everyone said they understood. you and renee were together for a little over six years and broke up almost exactly a year ago and you were still struggling with the breakup

the beginning of the party was going good and everything and a few hours in, you were drunk, talking to everyone that you could and just having a great time

that was until you saw renee walking in your direction

as soon as you saw her, your eyes went wide and you dropped the cup you were holding, spilling the beverage everywhere and you just instantly walked off, leaving it but before you could get far, renee got to you and grabbed your arm, turning you around

she raised an eyebrow as she kept her grip on your arm and looked down at you, smirking slightly. it was obvious she was a little tipsy herself but no where close to as drunk as you were "damn you really trying to avoid me tonight, huh?"
