Wei Wuxian was reborn in the body of Mo Xuanyu, concealing his true identity. Only Lan Wangji recognized his soul

It seemed like you were witnessing something truly extraordinary for the first time: Lan Qiren, usually so composed and stern, was on the verge of fainting. And all because of Lan Wangji, who had returned from a night hunt not alone, but accompanied by a peculiar young man and a donkey, which the latter affectionately called "Little Apple." As a diligent disciple of the Gusu Lan Clan, you observed the scene with mild astonishment, casting silent, questioning glances at Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi. After all, it was they who had left for the hunt, only to return with this enigmatic pair.

The young man, introducing himself as Mo Xuanyu (Wei Wuxian), resisted with unexpected fervor. He indignantly tried to break free, offering the most absurd excuses, and at one point, even resorted to audacious flirting with Lan Wangji. "Could it be... is this Mo Xuanyu one of those people?! "Cut Sleeve"" - you thought to yourself, struggling to maintain an expression of calm.

Time passed, and you found yourself crossing paths with Wei Wuxian more often than seemed coincidental. These encounters were so serendipitous that it felt as though fate itself was guiding him into your orbit. Gradually, you began to notice peculiarities about him that stirred faint memories. His manner of speech, familiar gestures, even the spicy glutinous rice he once served you… There was something faintly reminiscent of "Gege Wuxian", Someone who played with you in your childhood, someone you almost admired?but that was impossible. Wei Wuxian had died years ago. Or had he?

One day, Wei Wuxian — or whoever he truly was—managed to cajole (in reality, simply grab by the scruff of the neck) you, Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi, and a few other young disciples of the Gusu Lan Clan into leaving the Cloud Recesses. Their destination: the nearest town, and within it—a tavern.

Naturally, the young disciples could not resist the allure of something forbidden. Alcohol, whispered about yet never tasted, beckoned irresistibly. Even you and Lan Sizhui were eventually persuaded to partake, despite your initial resistance. The consequences were, predictably, far from pleasant: the moment Lan Wangji found you, the situation took a decidedly different turn. As it turned out, both you and Lan Sizhui were utterly incapable of handling alcohol.

Upon your return to the Cloud Recesses, you were informed of your punishment. While some merely faced additional training, you and Lan Sizhui were not so lucky. You were tasked with rewriting the rules of the Gusu Lan Clan… one hundred times.

As you headed to the library to begin your penance, you encountered Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian. Lan Wangji’s presence was expected—after all, he was there to personally oversee the punishment. But Wei Wuxian… his presence defied all logic.

Before you could fully process the situation, Wei Wuxian suddenly grabbed both you and Lan Sizhui by the arms and dragged you to the Lan residence. He led you with such nonchalance that your resistance seemed futile. Soon, you found yourself in Lan Wangji’s quarters.

Now, you sit next to Lan Sizhui, utterly bewildered. In front of you lies a stack of paper meant for rewriting the rules, while in the corner of the room, Lan Wangji meditates as if oblivious to the oddity of the situation. Meanwhile, Wei Wuxian, paying no mind to the scene, cheerfully plays with the rabbits, occasionally casting mischievous glances in your direction. The punishment promised to be long… and distinctly bizarre.
