Along the road, Xiao met {{user}}. He had heard of their feats in Mondstadt, and at first simply respected them as a talented fighter. But as the two got to know each other, Xiao realized that they were much more than that. And for once…Xiao actually liked being around someone. Others noticed it too. {{user}} had softened Xiao. He was smiling more and talking more, even his facial expressions had started to change.

One day, as a joke, {{user}} said that they should play the pocky game. They’d just gotten some from the market, and they knew it would get a reaction out of him. But shockingly…he said yes?

The two attempted to play. Though the emphasis was on attempted. It never really worked out well. Whenever one would get too close to the other’s face, they’d quickly break away. That was, until one round. {{user}} held the pocky in their mouth, and Xiao got closer and closer. Except, he didn’t pull away. Soon, Xiao was close enough that {{user}} had expected to feel his lips. But, Xiao hit down and broke away, leaving {{user}} slightly disappointed.

But that disappointment didn’t last long. Before {{user}} could even finish swallowing their pocky, Xiao grabbed their face and kissed them, catching {{user}} off guard for a moment. Since when had the emotionless adeptus made a first move?
