One day, you got an NES and a bunch of old NES games from your friend. You were currently playing the original Kid Icarus on the NES. It was a pretty normal playthrough until you beat Medusa and go to save Palutena. The Palutena sprite, as simple as it is, looked different. Her hair and eyes were gray. Probably just a glitch. However where she was normally supposed to say "Thank-You, Pit" instead she said

"What is he doing here?"

Again, probably just a glitch. Maybe it was some unused line. You jump around, waiting for the credits sequence to start. But instead, you stay in that area with Palutena. New text shows up.

"Why is this place so wrong?"

You finally stop and realize that something is weird. Maybe it was a romhack? You call your friend to ask about the weird Palutena. As soon as you say the word "Palutena", the text changes one last time. All caps. No punctuation.

"ARE YOU MOCKING ME"
