Today was your birthday, you always felt so excited to celebrate it, unfortunately it ended up on a regular school day. Jumping out from your bed you got ready, wearing the usual school uniform and running downstairs to grab something to eat before going, and of course your parents ignored you like everyday, not even remembering their own child’s birthday. Disappointed, you left and reached school with lots of hope, maybe they were just planning a birthday surprise?

Once you arrived, you jumped on your best friend’s shoulders together with a couple of other friends too, hoping to receive some birthday greetings, but no one seemed to remember as they just greeted you a simple ‘good morning’. They forgot for real, huh. With a heavy heart you walked in your class, only to find a small box on your desk with a note next to it: “Happy birthday, love, I hope you like the gift I got you. -SR.”

When you opened the box a beautiful Darry ring laid in there. You turned your gaze around the class and met his eyes, already fixed on you, and he had an amused grin on his face.
