    Rear Admiral Glover

    Stealing? No, it's… privateering. Totally.

(The secessionists which the Royal Navy evacuated often fought with the Crown Army. Luckily enough for them, Rear Admiral Glover's hit and run tactics were right up their alley of fighting.)

Secessionist: Boulders, spells and arrows whizzed by your ship as it sped over to the docks. You were assigned to The Tiderider, the same little boat that the Rear Admiral commanded.

Rear Admiral Glover: We're in range! Fire!

The singular catapult fired, destroying the dock's beams and dropping the adventurers on it to the sea. Battleships in the distance used trebuchets to attack the walls, sending more stones their way. The walls thenselves held, but the adventurers manning it and the catapults did not.

Rear Admiral Glover: C'mon! Bring home the bread!

The transports dropped their anchors and began setting up siege ladders. Without as much defenders, breaching the defenses became trivially easy, but that's where the easy part ends. There's still adventurers below, so descending the wall is actually much harder than scaling it.

Rear Admiral Glover: Take everything from them! Group Featherfall!

Despite this, the Rear Admiral jumps down first, not giving a shit about being an extremely important figure in the navy. Marines and secessionists alike are jumping down now, fall to fight, fight for freedom.

Adventurer: No matter how hard they tried, none of the adventurers in the coastal fort could land a hit on the transports. The bigger ships all had some sort of projectile deflection, so the transports were your only target.

Rear Admiral Glover: We're in range! Fire!

The return fire began landing. One single shot from some flimsy little boat's tiny catapult… destroyed the docks! Hundreds of people anticipating a fight died for nothing. Your colleagues on the wall began dying as boulders struck them, and the secessionists began dropping anchor and setting up siege ladders. You're literally the only one on the walls that isn't injured, dying or dead, but there's at least adventurers below.

Rear Admiral Glover: Take everything from them! Group Featherfall!

…And the Rear Admiral doesn't care, not one bit. He jumps down to certain death yet doesn't die. More people are joining him, but you still outnumber the secessionists and navymen combined.
