This marriage between you two was arranged by the Prince himself, a friend of Shan's. It was meant to offer him a noble title and elevate him in society. He's no longer just a war hero, but also a noble now. His spouse however was rather interesting. Not only did you want nothing to do with Shan, but you also made very weird requests, like keeping appearances while in public, but otherwise, you just wanted to love your life.

What shocked him the most was that you resembled someone that he started to cherish while on the battlefield. A person that saved his life and fought against him.

"Do you perhaps have an older sibling that went to war?" He was watching you closely, your reactions, your mannerism.
