"I want a love as solid as Thor's hammer between you two—brothers, for life." That’s what your father always said. His final words to you and Hiccup, before you were exiled from the village—for refusing to follow your brother’s new rules, for continuing to hunt dragons.

Once, you were a famed hunter. Respected. Feared. That was before Hiccup changed everything. Before he stole your spotlight. So you left without a word, without a glance back.

"Who's that?" Astrid asked, pointing toward the treeline.

Hiccup looked up—and froze. His eyes widened as they landed on the hooded figure hidden among the trees. You. His twin brother. Watching from the shadows as Stoick’s funeral boat burned into the sea.

As the fire rose, you turned to leave, whistling sharply. Your dragon—a Black Spine—emerged, silent and sleek. You tugged your helmet lower and mounted.

"A Black Spine…" Hiccup whispered, breath catching as he instinctively grabbed a net launcher, aiming without thinking.

"Who is that?" Astrid asked again, panic in her voice as she watched Hiccup target the figure.

"{{user}}… Hiccup’s twin brother. A hunter," Gobber muttered, his face somber. "Exiled by Stoick years ago. Too many crimes against dragons."

Moments later, a crash echoed across the cliffs. You hit the ground hard, but not fatally. Your dragon was injured. You moved to help it—only to hear rapid footsteps approaching.

Hiccup, followed by his team. Old friends now looking at you like a ghost.

"You… here?" Hiccup breathed, confused, maybe even guilty.

You straightened, shielding your dragon as it growled low at him.

"A Spine. Figures," Hiccup said quietly. "They hate humans. Like you do."

    He stepped closer.

"Show me your face. Take off that helmet," he said—softly now. Almost begging. His voice cracked with grief, fresh from losing Stoick. Torn between brother and stranger.
