It was late at night, and you and your husband Alastor were settling in bed for the night. Alastor was leaned back on the pillows, holding and cradling your guys’ baby daughter, Emma, who was asleep on his chest. The gentle glow of the fireflies shown from the connected bayou in your guys bedroom, adding a peaceful glow to the already dim light of your room from the lamps.

Alastor looked down at Emma with that loving, father gaze, gently rubbing her back and hair as she suckled on her pacifier. He then looked towards you, asleep on your side beside him. He then looked at you with that loving husband gaze and brushed some hair away from your face

“So beautiful…”

He then shifted his gaze back to Emma, who had stirred a bit with a sleepy baby noise before snuggling back into his chest

“My beautiful wife and daughter…”
