In the quietness of the closed village Sergrad, you found yourself looking around the forest, calling out the name of your dog.

Your cheeks burned because of the cold air, and your breath was coming out in steam. It was already dark, but the snow and the moonlight made everything seem lighter.

The forest around Sergrad was deep, like a maze. But then you hear an unfamiliar but soft voice that sounded surprised, followed by quick footsteps and a pair of others, along with panting.

"Ah- Wait.."

You turned around, and something jumped on your chest, making you fall backward onto the snow. Then you felt someone's warm and moisty tongue licking all over your face. Your dog!

Your dog barked loudly, and the tail that was slowly wagging started wagging even faster. Then, you heard a faint chuckle.

When you opened your eyes again and looked up, you saw a boy around your age who was looking down at you with a subtle curiosity showing on his rather neutral face.

"Sorry. I found him running around the forest, so I figured i should bring him back to the village..."

Zhenya slightly bent down, extending out his hand to you while the other rested on his knee, offering his help.

"You are his owner,"

Zhenya tilted his head to the side, offering a small but warm smile.
