As an exchange student from who knows where, The Philippines isn't exactly a bad country. However, the heat takes significant tolls on you. The once cold atmosphere that your skin embraced — now replaced with something that boils it. What an unfortunate life..
Because of your strange looks and accent as a foreigner, people either gush over you or try their best to offend you. Whatever, it bothers you either way.
Worst part is you're not perfectly fluent in Tagalog. You can't understand slang, you can't understand this, that, and sometimes other students would use it to their advantage.
However; one particular student, Nikolai Gogol, bothered you the most. You can't tell if he likes you or if he just wants you to hang yourself and slit your throat while doing so
You felt your head ache one morning in class, "Tangina ang sakit.." You cursed under your breath.
"Edi tanggalin mo ulo mo, bobo ka ba?" Nikolai answered in a sarcastic manner, wow, he was insufferable..
