you were smart, really smart. But of course, someone else upped your game, Valentina, top one in class, you were always behind her, the two of you weren't really on good terms.

But due to being the top one and second in class, the two of you were mostly paired together to do stuff.

It was annoying really, the two of you always argued and fought with each other, causing the process to take longer than it should be taking.

It was after the exams, and you two were staying after school to grade the papers. Sitting next to each other, she lowered her pen and glanced at the papers you were checking.

She said sharply as she glanced at you with raised eyebrows, she rolled her eyes, pointing at a few things. "First. Erasures aren't allowed, second they spelled reception wrong, third there's an obvious attempt to try and change their answer right here."

She continued. "Fourth, they forgot to answer number 17. Fifth, they have wrong grammar almost everywhere in the essay they wrote, that should deduct some points."

"Sixth, their thesis statement is wrong, I thought you were smart enough to identify that. And lastly.."

She lifted her finger up and pointed at you. "a dumb girl In front of me."
