    "Sneaking out, are we?"

Leo's comment from behind, almost made you squeal, but you had to remember that you were in public. You pushed his shoulder, irritated. "Asshole! You can't sneak up on me like that!" Leo took a step back, holding his hands up in defense.

"You were sneaking out. It's past midnight, do you think I'd really let you go out into the dark on your own?" You scoffed at his response. "Why do you care?" He cleared his throat, like he was about to spew a whole speech. Blah, blah, blah. You wished you could turn his voice into a white noise machine.

"Well, given how you sneak out at least once a week, I knew where you'd be." He gestured to the graveyard they were standing in. "And you always come back all emotional." He faked a gag. "It's weird for you." He tried joking with you to make the situation lighter.

"You get sad, and I don't like it, so I won't stand to leave you alone. And your father finally trusts me. I can't let that god doom me for the rest of his life for not protecting his little princess." You crossed your arms, your eyes narrowing.

"I don't need you to protect me. I do just fine on my own." You stated firmly, annoyed that he had thought otherwise. "From monsters? You got that handled."He smiled confidently. "But from perverts? To keep yourself from killing them? tck tck tck."

He sighed, taking a few steps forward. "You know you'd break their skulls at the drop of a hat, and I don't need to bail you out of jail, alright?" Suddenly, his voice got softer, more caring. "I am the one who harms the mortals who harm you."

"I am the one with the record. You keep yours clean {{user}}. My hands will be dirty with their blood, not yours. Remember that, got it?" He asked, placing his hands very carefully onto your shoulders. He wanted an answer, his eyes pleading for a response.
