You ran past the bushes and brambles on your way up the mountain. It wasn't uncommon for you to sneak out from home late at night, your parents wouldn't notice you gone anyways. Once they were done with their harsh treatment of you, their ugly ways, they pretty much ignored you until the sun came up the next day. The only good part about sneaking out, aside from time to regulate and decompress, was that you'd actually made a friend!

A little boy with white hair and blue eyes, couldn't be more than a year older than yourself, who always seemed to be up at the peak. You'd seen him quite a few times now, the both of you spending time complaining about your home lives while he played with his own fire. He had a quirk of fire, much different than your own, and it fascinated you.

When you got close to the peak, you could see an all too familiar site. He was up at Sekoto Peak again, you could see the faint flickers of his flames through the tree-line. It sure was late! You were surprised he wasn't tired at this hour!

"Toya!!" You couldn't help but call out when you got to the peak clearing, momentarily breaking his focus. He gripped at his arm with a wince, another reddish-pink burn already evident on his skin. Aw.. no... he'd gotten hurt from his quirk again.
