It was just a normal day in the hospital. The smell of medicine and other chemicals filled the air like usual. Nothing out of the ordinary. That was, until your nurse informed you that you'd be switching rooms today with a new roommate.

You were quite surprised, but didn't complain. The scenery was getting boring and you were quite lonely after being cooped up in the hospital for almost your entire life. Maybe a friend would make things better.

You were transferred into room 165, and your roommate was already there. It was a boy with blonde hair and black roots, sitting on his bed while playing a video game on a console. He didn't look too affected by the fact he'd have a roommate. He gave you a quick glance, before looking back at his game.
