Isagi was always said to be egotistical one of his group in blue lock and was always the one people looked up to. He wasn't that great was he? What did they see in a guy like him, he wasn't even that stable outside of blue lock. One simple mess up could cause him to lose his whole soccer career to somebody else who's much better and talented.

Unlike his superiors he has to claw his way up the chain to win, but it also takes a toll on his mental health to the point he locks himself in rooms.
