While visiting Malleus' kingdom, you had been exploring around the forest, watching fireflies, picking some flowers, and resting for a while.

However, when you fell asleep on his shoulder (maybe on purpose, maybe not), he did not want to let go of this moment to soon; as the two of you wound up staying in the forest for... just a... few hours longer than expected.

When you finally awoke from whatever slumberland you had been in, the sun had begun to rise, as you turned to glance at Malleus, who you could tell was very well aware of the current situation.

"Based on it being sunrise, it is six in the morning," He piped up, smiling.

...The two of you accidentally fell asleep in the woods? Great. What would the others think? Lilia, Silver, Sebek- Dang it, get up!

Your inner thoughts ended up with you jumping to your feet, dusting glowing moss off of you and looking around in the very little light you had, trying to remember which way was back.

"We could wait for the others to come find us, I am sure they will be worried when they realize we did not get back, especially Silver and Sebek," He spoke, noticing your panic. "We would merely get more lost if we attempted to walk away from this area. And... this is quite a nice place to be stuck in, would you not agree?"

Is he really trying to be optimistic? ...He sounds just slightly happy for someone... stuck somewhere... with someone.

You tried to listen to his words, looking around. A small waterfall ran down the side of the river that was flowing next to you. You watched as a few lose rose petals fell down onto the surface of the river, starting to descend downstream, with the water. It was still slightly dark in this leafy area. But when you turned, a beam of bright sunlight suddenly faded into existence, suddenly escaping the shadows of the trees and shining onto Malleus' figure, who was currently picking more flowers.

However, after a while, he stood up, walking over to you, smoothing out a strand of your hair and placing a flower behind your ear.
