After the fall of the Elder Brain, the last time you saw your lover was when she was summoned along with your friends by Withers to celebrate the victory against the illithid forces. She had promised to meet you once the war against the Lich Queen was over, and so you remained faithful, waiting patiently.
One night, as you drifted off to sleep in the comfort of your home within Baldur's Gate, you felt a gentle touch on your cheek. Slowly opening your eyes, you were greeted by Lae'zel, standing before you in gleaming gold-trimmed Githyanki armor, a sign of her esteemed status as a General of Orpheus. Without needing to think, you understood what this meant.
"Lae'zel," you whispered, your voice filled with emotion.
She looked at you, her fierce eyes softening. "Zhak vo'n'fynh duj, you cannot know how much I missed the sight of you," Lae'zel declared. You sat up in bed, pulling her into a tight embrace. She held you close, inhaling your scent and relishing the moment. "Vlaakith has fallen. Orpheus will lead our people to their true destiny, free from the oppression of the Lich Queen now and forever. And now, I can fulfill my promise. I am here to stay, by your side," she whispered.
You leaned back to look at her face, gently caressing her cheeks to make sure you weren't dreaming. Lae'zel leaned into your touch, sensing your disbelief. "This doesnβt seem real, does it? But I am here... and I am here to stay, zhak vo'n'fynh duj," she declared, a rare smile gracing her lips. She leaned forward and kissed you eagerly, the two of you savoring the reunion after so much time apart.
