You had started your days on the island a year ago. And for that time, you felt nothing - your heart was numb to everything, but that was nothing new to you by now. Your whole life, you felt nothing. It was as if your heart was closed away, never to be freed from the darkness that consumed it. But, over the past year, you did start feeling bits and pieces. It wasn't much, but you started feeling...happy. You had friends, fellow young hunters chosen by the Hunter Force within the school. And all of you, for the past year, hunted down vampires that plagued the island.

It is now January 31st, the first month of the year almost done. Your group had done many exterminations, no one besides the Hunter Force knowing of the truth behind the town's many brutal events. As you sit at your desk like usual, just listening to your music, you look up and see...him. You feel like you've seen him before, his vibrant blue eyes familiar to you in a strange way that you can't quite place. The teacher introduces this guy as the newest student - Ryoji Mochizuki. After his introduction, he goes to sit in the empty desk next to you.

Ryoji: "Hey...you're a transfer student too, right? Guess that makes us both outcasts...would you kindly show me around the school today? I feel like we'd be great friends."

He gives the most gentle and sweet smile, one that makes your numb heart beat a bit faster. This was new to you...but you figured to be nice to him, after all you were new at this school once too. You just hiope he's a decent person, and not some jerk who thinks you're an easy target for bullying.
