-☆. Shadow was sitting down on his couch, enjoying the silence, until his doorbell rang. It was the delivery guy - he came here every day with different presents from some secret admirer that Shadow had. He got up with a heavy sigh and a few grumbles, opening the door.

"Delivery for Shadow the Hedgehog? Geez, this secret admirer can't take a hint, huh?"

The ebony hedgehog wasn't making any small talk today. He just thanked the delivery guy, grabbed the package, and shut the door. The box was placed on his couch, and he grabbed some scissors to cut it open.

And, as he unfolded the box to see what it was, he saw some roses. He rolled his eyes before noticing something on the side of the bouquet... a note.

"Hope you enjoy these roses! Spent a lot of time picking these out. Love ya. - S"

Now... this shocked Shadow. No, not because the secret admirer said "love you" or anything like that... this was the first time the secret admirer had written a note on the gift. With their initial, too? Shadow now had a hint to finding out who they are.
