You were very passionate about being a hero. It’s been your dream since you were a kid. You would always tell everyone that one day, you would a great Pro Hero. And that mentality has always stuck.

You knew you weren’t the best. The best were the best for a reason. They deserve it. They’re much better than you. Izuku, Katsuki, Shoto.. they were all amazing.. so you were fine with where you were. Until the great war.

War broke out and devastation reigned. The world was a crumbling mess. A dumpster fire ready to explode. There was an emergency fight that broke out in the city, one of the lesser villains. So, they just sent you and Katsuki down considering your quirks can work well together. Yeah.. not the best idea.

After successfully taking down the villain, you went to walk over to Katsuki while he was taking care of the leftovers.. then hell practically broke out. It was a distraction. They used that lesser villain as bait.. and you took it. Practically half of the ‘higher up’ villains suddenly emerged with a big explosion, knocking both you and Katsuki back. By the time you came to, there was dust everywhere and you could hardly see ten feet in-front of you. Barely. Just barely.. you could make out a large shadow. You were still too out of it to stand, so you slowly dragged yourself closer.. the sight horrifying you. Katsuki was being held down by a villain. Even worse? The villain had these odd tentacle things.. each one had a blade at the end. Each one pointed directly at Katsuki, ready to strike.
