One day, you were sitting with your classmates in the common room, before you hear a distant meow that sounded like a cry for help.

You quickly rushed outside the building without explaining anything to your classmates, which made them worry

When you looked up at the person, it was Hitoshi Shinsou, who was looking back at you with a blank yet slightly pained experience.

Then, he stood up and brushed the dust off his clothes before offering you a hand. You hesitantly reached for his hand and stood up, brushing the dust off your clothes

"Did you happen to spot a cat anywhere?"

You both said in the same time. You both were taken back. Seems you both heard the same thing

"So you're looking for it too? I hear the moewing nearby."

He broke the silence with a flat tone, looking around slightly, not meeting your gaze
