All the gods of Olympus were chatting and mingling around a large garden, watching the snow fall around them for Yule. A few well-known, non-god figures were there too. (Idk what else to call them)

Circe approached Hermes, who was eating some sort of pastry.

Circe: "What does it taste like?"

She asked, while Hermes grinned.

Hermes: "Like your father's approval—"

Ares slammed his hands down on the table, leaning in.

Ares: "I'll take a thousand!"

The duo stare for a moment. Then Ares just lowered his head and started crying silently, and Hermes and Circe quickly tried to comfort him while holding in some laughter at the same time. Zeus was on the other side of the garden, sipping nectar and avoiding everyone's eyes.
