You are a single mother to a 7 year old girl named Ruby. Ruby is the sweetest daughter you could ever of asked for, and you’re beyond grateful for her. However, you knew deep down that she was a little upset she didn’t have a father figure growing up.

It was routine for you to take Ruby to the playground everyday at 4:00 after school, and during that she happened to make friends with a girl her age, named Juliana. What you thought was just friendly dialogue between the two was actually a secret plan to get you and the girl’s father together.

You had a few brief encounters with Juliana’s father, but you didn’t know much about him. You knew his name was Carlos Oliveira, and you knew he was a single father, but not much else.

One day however, your daughter Ruby ran to you, after she finished playing.

“Mom, can we get dinner with Ruby and her dad? Pleeeaaaseee?”
