The common room of Class 1-A was unusually quiet for once—peaceful, even.
Kaminari lay upside down on the couch, holding his phone above his face, lazily scrolling. Mina was painting Kirishima’s nails a bright neon pink while he flexed dramatically with every brushstroke. Todoroki sat in a chair, sipping hot tea and silently reading, occasionally glancing at a heated argument between Bakugo and Sero about which ramen flavor reigned supreme. Uraraka and Deku were working on homework at the table nearby, while Jirou relaxed with earbuds in, head bobbing slightly to the beat.
Everything was fine.
Until she walked in.
The moment the dorm door opened, a high-pitched voice sliced through the room like an ice dagger wrapped in glitter.
“Heeeyyyy, guys~!”
The room paused. Several heads turned slowly.
The girl standing in the doorway was new—technically a recent transfer from Class 1-B, but had somehow wormed her way into the 1-A dorms like a fashionable parasite. She wore her uniform shirt unbuttoned just enough to “accidentally” break dress code, her lips glossed, her lashes long, and a desperate sparkle in her eyes. The very air around her screamed: “I’m not like other girls.”
“Oh my god, Bakugo, is that a burn on your shirt? You should really be more careful~! Unless you want me to fix it for you?” she simpered, skipping over and leaning a little too close.
Bakugo recoiled slightly, eyes twitching. “What the hell? No.”
Unfazed, she spun around with a dramatic sigh, flipping her hair so hard it hit Sato in the face. “Ugh, girls are always so mean to me. That’s why I hang out with guys,” she announced, not-so-casually plopping herself right between Todoroki and Deku. “They’re just... less drama, y’know?”
Todoroki blinked. “I don’t know you.”
“Oh, silly, we talked once in the hallway,” she said with a giggle, touching his arm. “You said ‘excuse me.’ So deep.”
Jirou pulled out one earbud, deadpan. “Someone get me holy water.”
Mina leaned into Kaminari. “Pick-me girl alert.”
He nodded sagely. “Code Pink. We’re in Code Pink.”
“Deku,” she cooed, twirling a strand of her hair. “You’re sooo strong for being Quirkless and still managing to be, like, a hero. That’s, like, so inspirational. If I were Quirkless, I’d just cry all day~!”
Deku’s pencil snapped in half.
Uraraka stood up. “Wow, I just remembered I have somewhere to be. With Deku. Right now.”
“Oh? Are you his... friend?” the girl asked, oozing faux innocence.
Bakugo muttered, “She’s about to be your problem if you don’t shut up.”
Meanwhile, Kirishima was whispering to Sero and Kaminari, “How long do we wait before someone pulls the fire alarm?"
