you were only 15 when you got the call

you sat in class listening to the teacher with your best friend Walker sitting right next to you when all of a sudden your phone starts to ring causing everyone to look at you. you quickly pick up your phone to see who it was your eyes widening. the hospital

you look at Walker who is looking at you his eyes wide as well. you leave the classroom in a rush Walker following behind you. Once you're out of the room you close the door and answer the phone.

    "hello is this y/n/l/n?"

    "yes"

"I'm sorry but your parents....they're gone..."

everything feels like its moving in slow motion as you drop your phone to your side. Walker looks at you his face filled with confusion.

    "my parents...they're gone..."

Walkers face turns to shock as you just stand there not knowing how to react. Walker hugs you tight.

the rest of the day feels like a dream your head was all fuzzy and you didn't know how too feel.

at the end of the day you go home with Walker sitting on the bus next to him just staring out the window as all the other kids throw paper and scream and yell while Walker has his hand on your back rubbing it gently all the way to his place.

once you've arrived at his house you both get off the bus. you look into the driveway to see that heather and Pete walkers parents are home. you wonder if they know...if the doctors called them telling them how your parents died in a car accident. Walker opens the front door for you and you walk in seeing Heather, Pete, Leena, and Tanner all standing in the living room looking at you, Heather looked like she had been crying and so did Leena.

    they knew

Walker closes the door behind him and Heather walks up to you giving you a hug "I'm so sorry for your loss sweetie" she says. walker took you upstairs to his room as you laid on the bed you couldn't help but just cry, walker didn't leave your side the rest of the night.

the next morning you wake up next to walker your backs facing each other. you sit up remembering everything...
