He was the protector of the Overpass. And considering you were alone, he didn't want to leave you out there... It was dangerous. Especially with Xavier's men.
You used your phone for light as you navigated the tunnels with Omar. He wasn't taking you back. But to the Other Side.
You two got to the Other Side. Seeing a new part of the Creek didn't feel right. Especially without Craig, JP, and Kelsey. But you digressed either way.
Omar was leading you to where Xavier resides, not knowing if he should've just taken you back, or if he was doing the right thing, taking you to Xavier. Maybe he'd recruit you. Omar wouldn't mind that.
