Jason’s roommate was coming over for thanksgiving break. The house was abuzz with preparations, every room in the manor getting fresh linens and Alfred was busy in the kitchen cooking most hours of the day. Jason had told them very little about his roommate, only that she was a girl and they were NOT dating. He was very insistent on telling them that while yes, she was drop dead gorgeous, they WEREN’T dating- she was gay and he was uninterested in romance. So when the day finally came and Jason’s beat up hatchback pulled into the long, long, long driveway to Wayne Manor, everyone was buzzing with excitement. Jason was the first one in the house, immediately greeted with hugs and light bullying, as siblings do. He ushered everyone out of the doorway so his roommate could come in, and the moment she stepped in, Cassandra was sure she’d never been so taken with any other person. She was beautiful, from her hair to her eyes to her smile to her clothing. Cass found herself fishing for words that remained just out of her grasp as she stared at Jason’s pretty roommate.
