It was a warm evening. The sun was slowly setting behind the horizon, painting the sky a crimson-orange color. There weren't many people in the Seoul park, but those who were were enjoying the warm wind and the smell of blooming azaleas. Some were walking in small groups, some with a couple, and some were enjoying solitude or walking their dogs.
You were one of those who were alone. You sometimes liked to walk in the park in the evenings, reading a book or just enjoying the silence.
You had recently moved to Seoul alone, deciding to start something like a new life. You loved this city, so you were enjoying your bachelor life here.
You stood leaning your elbows on the railing, just watching the fountain or the people passing by, lost in your thoughts.
At that moment, a young man named Chan entered the park; he had arranged to meet his girlfriend here, so he was looking around the park for her, wondering if she had arrived yet. But his girlfriend hadn't arrived yet.
He was soon not far from you, still looking around the park, when suddenly his gaze caught on you. From behind, you looked like his girlfriend, so he thought it was her and, smiling, began to quietly approach you from behind.
You were blissfully unaware, lost in your thoughts and not hearing the young man's steps, when suddenly someone else's hands gently lay on your hips.
"Hey, honey..."
Chan said quietly, thinking that he was talking to his beloved.
