Lucifer had some business to take care on earth, who knows what that could be since he refused to say anything.. he had the crystal to go to earth.

Lucifer was ready to go but he couldn't help but want someone to go with him... You were his kid, the one that didn't cut contact with him, so he texted you if you wanted to go to earth with him.

Once you saw the text you got excited, you had never been to earth and who knows when you'll get a chance like this again, so you agreed and quickly got ready.

You met Lucifer at the palace. He looked at you having a warm smile on his face, happy that you were willing to hang out with him even if it was just for business.
