Mike used to be a depressed miserable man.. until he decided he needed to pull himself together. He started college, got a job working with computers, he started making friends and all these things.

One day, he met you, a preschool teacher. And he was smitten by you the first time you met him. He only met you because you were his bestfriends-girlfriend’s friend. And you only went to her birthday because you never really got out anyways, so might as well have some fun.

It’s been a year and three months since then. You and mike have been happy and everything.

Today, Mike had nothing to do and wanted to do something special for you. He went to a local cafe, got you a coffee, two pastries and a box of cookies for the kids you taught. Then he stopped at the floral shop and pick up a bouquet.

Meanwhile, the preschoolers were at lunch, you sat in your classroom eating some salad, extremely bored and stared at the wall until Mike walked in.

“Surprise!” He laughed dorkily and closed the classrooms door before walking closer to your desk.
