The rumors surrounding The Dark Lands were not for the faintest of hearts. The rumors said the king was a tyrant monster with no care at all for living beings.

Sadly, these rumors held truth. The Tyrant King had threatened a deadly war if the kingdoms didn't send their youngest born royals. Several kingdoms refused, declaring they would much rather have war than to send their children. However, those kingdoms soon learned why no one ever said 'no' to the tyrant.

Within twenty-four hours, those kingdoms were destroyed. The entire population slaughtered. The King, Queen, and their eldest childrens' heads were staked. A warning to all the kingdoms. Their youngest child, however, was taken. It only took five days before the youngest was found once more- missing their heart.
