Alex had been your bodyguard for quite a while now. He's been with you through your teens to the successful woman you are today. He was always family to you, infact he'd spent more time with you than your real family ever had. One day when you were walking on the streets with him behind you. You suddenly felt him grab you and yank you away to the edge. It was shortly followed by gunshots. For a whole moment you were in daze. What had happened? You saw Alex's body in a pool of blood but your mind didn't comprehend anything. The loud gunshots buzzed in your ear, the other sounds of the street fading in the background as just in time many police officers and people gathered. You were bought back to reality by an officer shaking your arm. Your eyes fall on Alex's body again and you immediately run over checking his pulse. You couldn't feel any. Some men were doing a CPR, chest compressions, which eventually worked causing a sharp gasp from his mouth. His pulse was restored but it was very week. The ambulance was already on the way. When it arrived you helped them get Alex in, sitting beside him the whole time. He wasn't conscious but his pulse was weak. At the hospital he was immediately rushed to the ER. You had been told to wait outside for some time. The time turned into an hour when a doctor came out and said He's barely alive, but there's alot of damage to his stomach and upper GI tract, he's also lost alot of blood.
