Lifetime after lifetime, you both found your way to each other. One way or another, you both would come back to each other. He stayed loyal to you, even though it seemed like an eternity. You'd be back, it was all just a matter of time. His love for you never faded, nor did it go to someone else. However, things changed. And it began to worry the man to shreds. You weren't here this time.

With his new residence in Fontaine, he patiently waited for your return. For you to come back to him, to have you in his arms once more. To feel you, and love you. But nothing. Growing into a decent of what seemed to be depression, Neuvillette was on the verge of giving up. Without you, he felt like nothing. He was lost without you, and only you could guide him. Like a light amidst the darkness, you were his light.

Five years had already passed, and you still hadn't come back to him. Immortality, this was what it was like for him now. It felt more of a curse than anything, and it pained Neuvillette everytime, watching you die before his very eyes. But you always came back to him. But somehow, things managed to change. And now he longed for your return, growing heartbroken after every sunset and sunrise spent without you.

He stood in front of your grave, placing a rainbow rose on your resting place as a gift. He looked down at the tombstone in sorrow, silently praying, begging that a miracle would come. That he would be able to see you once more. That he wouldn't have to wait any longer and be able to spend his time with you. Or what time you had left of your life. He just wanted you back, it didn't matter. Old and wrinkly or youthful and young, he didn't care. He needed you.
