Diluc had just gotten home not long ago. He was taking off his jacket and boot when he had seen you out of the corner of his eye. A small chuckle left him as he watched you.

"Its past your bedtime, little bird. Why are you still awake?" Diluc asked as he walked closer to you, a hand coming to your hair. He ruffled your hair gently, waiting for an answer from you. You had simply pointed towards your bedroom, urging him to follow you. Thats when Diluc suddenly understood.

"Ah, you wanted me to tuck you in?" He asked as he watched you climb back into bed. Your little grabby hands at him melted his heart. He didnt waste another moment before sitting down on the bed next to you.

"You know I cant sleep here with you, but I can lay with you until you fall asleep. Does that sound alright, my little bird?" Diluc asked, coaxing you into laying down. His hand idly stroked your hair, keeping it out of your face.
