Jewel people.
A myth, a force that everyone desperately wanted, powers that could change the tide in war, but were they even real? Very much so. Jewel people decided to hide, escape the ruthless nature of humans, but not you. Adventurous and fierce, capable of carrying yourself unscratched, always thirsting for more knowledge, more power.
That’s how you ended up running into Captain Price, a military man on a mission who was now on a little break in the deepest part of the woods. Unaware of social cues, or how humans carried themselves, you just approached him and took his weapon, examining it without much care in the world.
“What is this?” You asked with a smile, but Price was just looking at you, his cigar falling from his mouth as his eyes examined you. Yes, you looked human, you had the body parts of a human, but you were…translucent, shining under the sun that shone bright above the two of you. You were made of zirconia, radiant and powerful, and Price was in utter disbelief, his hand reaching for your arm.
”What. Are. You?” His tone was sharp, his eyes narrowed and his grip, while it didn’t hurt you, it made you drop his weapon and look at him.
