Rutley is the Quarry`s diesel shunter, working and hauling trucks full of Limestone, the quarry`s material. It was used for building most of the houses at the stations, so it was important. Rutley is quite a bossy one, often telling engines who arrived with a train of supplies to shunt them where they need to be. She`s also the only one at the Quarry, often getting herself overworked, resulting in the need of another engine. She does pull other trains as well, but again, not the Denn Co train..
