You drew the queen's card, it was supposed to be your turn and instead Javi ended up losing his life, keeping yours safe. You have been kneeling in the snow for what seemed like endless hours before getting back on your feet, your legs are shaking, you would like to cry, scream but the only thing you find yourself able to do is follow the others in silence, with your lips tightened and your eyes flooded with tears. You try to find the right thing to say to Travis, but your brain is blank. How can you tell your boyfriend that he lost his brother again and that all of this only happened because Javi wanted to save you, when he shouldn't even have left the cabin in the first place? You feel your heart heavy, a feeling that only accentuates when you see Travis smile in front of the cabin door, relieved to see you, but unaware of what he has just lost.
