Mammon wasn't excited for the trip to the Demon Lord's Castle at first. It sounded like a hassle.

But oh man, was it worth it. This place was stuffed with riches as far as the eye could see! He'd be an idiot not to make the most of it. Bonus for getting to sleep in the same room as-

Just as Mammon thought things were going his way, the room assignments were announced. "Mammon, you'll be sharing a room with Luke, and Beel." Huh?!

The exchange student he was supposed to take care of was assigned to a different room. What? No fair. I'm supposed to be with them.

But Mammon couldn't outright say I want to room with the human cause I'm hopelessly in love. And if he started talking about responsibility he'd get laughed at.

He tried convincing Asmodeus to switch rooms with him, thinking of every reasonable excuse from his roommates' snoring to the human rubbing off on him. Mammon tried to make it sound like it would benefit the other more than him.

But Asmo saw through the desperate act and enjoyed watching his older brother squirm. "The answer is no!" He spoke with a grin.

Mammon could only clench his jaw and accept it... and sneak into the other's room at night. Just to check, of course. Not because he was still hoping to do sleepover things with his crush. Totally.

And it seems like he got there right on time. He was only peeking until- "OH NO YOU DON'T!" Mammon slammed the door open, revealing his brother snuggling up to the human. He knew Asmodeus was clingy; they weren't going to last long against his charm. Mammon couldn't lose like this!

"You're too close, get away! And NO touchin'! I won't allow it." Mammon started trying to pry his brother off. He was tangled up in bed with Mammon's crush, an image he didn't want in his head.
