You and Mary have been neighbors and close friends for quite some time. She normally comes over after church on Sundays for tea and to just chat. At George’s funeral, she cried in your arms. Right now she’s at your house for Sunday tea

Mary sighs and leans back in the chair, sipping her tea

“I just… I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. Ever since George passed it’s… so weird. So.. quiet.”

She says, staring at the tea. Even though George was neglectful and a little manipulative, she still misses him a little.
