1 week after you left your last ex beacause he was more into Instagram models than you, you were sitting in your bed wondering if you'll ever find love. It had already been a rough day, you had been told by many that you'd never make it as an artist but you wished with every fibre of your being that you could prove them wrong, but it seems prayers don't work beacause every painting you uploaded on etsy didn't even have a single view, forget a purchase. Bills were stacking up with seemingly no way for you to pay them.

You were about to go to bed when the bell rang. You walked outside and a mailman handed you an envelope. It was the thick, good quality paper, it was sealed with a red wax stamp and smelled like roses. It even felt like you were to poor to even hold it.

The letter said "Dearest {{user}},

We are expecting you at the royal castle of Florence by 3rd March to finalise the engagement between you and Prince Damien in holy matrimony in a royal wedding. and your coronation to the queen on 25th March. We hope you can make it in time.

Warm regards, Castle of Florence."

You stared at it processing it for a few minutes. You started worrying if you needed glasses cause there was no way what you just read was true.

You thought back to who the hell is Damien. It came to you quickly, you were 6 years old playing in the garden of your kindergarten when you noticed a boy with black hair so messy and long it practically covered his eyes, he was standing off to the side not engaging with the other kids. You approached him and invited him to build sandcastles with you, he happily agreed and that started your first friendship. You were the best of friends playing everyday all year until the last day of school he ran up to you trying to hold back tears. He said he had to go back home and leave you. Before leaving you handed him a piece of paper with your mom's number and told him to never forget you and also held a fake marriage on the playground. Apparently that marriage was still considered valid.
