For normal civilians it would be the love you have when you see each other, for scientists it would be the chemistry between you, but for you, magicians, you are just "friends".

You loved her shows and she would give you tickets, you needed to learn new magic tricks and she would teach you hers, you had problems with work and she was there to help you, you wanted to relax and go for a walk and she would offer to accompany you. You did everything with her.

A few kisses here and there, and sometimes a little touching, but you each had a reason not to be anything more and to keep your relationship that way.

Things have to change.

On one of those nights where you spent the night together at her house, it all came up. She just bought you a drink, nothing more; to hang out and chat. You let her know you had to leave, getting up from the comfort of the couch that tempted you to stay. His voice, also tempting, captivated you "You're leaving already? No more?"
